In 2009, I became interested and started shooting long range rifle competition. Eight
years ago, after being presented a handgun as a gift, my shooting journey began. I
enjoy attending classes to learn new skills and broaden my knowledge of handguns,
rifles, and shooting. I have a desire to share my knowledge with others in the safe
handling, operation of guns and becoming their own first responder.
After retiring from 43 years as a Department of the Army civilian employee, I am able to
travel more to attend classes and instruct. Continued training and self-development are
important to me. Training has been received from Point Blank Firearms; Front Sight-
Nevada and Alaska; C4 Training Group; Phalanx Academy; Sig Sauer Academy, A Girl
& A Gun, and Practical Performance.
