In my line of work as a professional licensed Realtor I realized that law enforcement nor loved ones would be able to protect me as I show houses around our great state alone. This sobering realization started a chain of much needed lifestyle changes. I soon realized my safety is my responsibility and I was the first line of protection and self-defense.
In 2013 I joined an organization called The Well Armed Woman. Being a participating member of TWAW not only did I grow my knowledge and competence in firearms but it also created an overwhelming desire to want to help others with their education and training about firearms. In June 2013, I became a Co-Leader for TWAW and have gotten the great opportunity to educate others about a skill that could save their life.
